This is been by far the most competitive season I can remember. And besides the injuries, there hasn't really been a downer at all this season, especially off the court. It's amazing how the NBA was able to completey move past the Tim Donaghy gambling scandal without much carry over too. Mike – I completely agree. As someone who grew up with Michael, Magic, Larry, and Pre-Brain Damage and Sexual Harrassment Lawsuit Isiah, it's comforting to see an all time high talent level that's being coupled with a renewed emphasis on fundamental skills of basketball being brought over from Europe. I haven't really followed the pro game as much in recent years as the quality of play has declined due to a number of factors but this could stand as a watershed season in the revival of a better pro game. Anyway, it's certainly a change a pace when players are getting more attention for what they're doing on the court than what they're doing off the court (or in the stands, in Ron Artest's case) Yeah I have to agree with Gargs above, this has truly been an exciting season in the NBA.
