The Sixers actually will be playing the New Jersey Nets while they are healthy. The Sixers were lucky to have faced the Nets twice in the early going with a very limited team missing impact players. We don't know the answer to this. But rumors are circulating that the idea hasn't at least been denied vehemently. The beginning: Believe it or not, sources say Philadelphia has not completely ruled out a McGrady-for-Andre Iguodala deal, if only because if the losing continues, Sixers ownership may order a fire sale. Sixers GM Ed Stefanski is desperate to unload forward Elton Brand(notes) and the $66 million owed over the remaining four years of his crippling contract, sources say, but that will be incredibly difficult.
