Greek: You will most definitely be hearing an earful from yours truly if Stefanski picks Teague if Lawson or Budinger are available. I may have to start a separate blog if we pick Teague.

Teague is a better Lou Williams. He is THE classic SG in a PG’s body college player, of which there are dozens every year. In Teague’s case, he happens to be VERY good. But we’d basically be drafting a guy that is not a future PG, but is good for sparkplug scoring. aka: another Lou Williams. I’d be fine with replacing Lou with Teague…or a guy like McNeal, Meeks, etc…but if we have Lou AND a guy like that, we have a logjam.

Greek will start draft coverage this weekend for sure. Been reading up and wanted to wait until after all the official measurements and testing came out. I will be curious to see if the Sixers actually talk about how the workouts went after seeing some guys tomorrow.

Notion of Williams starting doesn’t surprise at all. Stefanski loves him, invested in him, and dreams big on him; in part, his GM rep resides with LW succeeding, or at least improving a notch from devastating to harmful. Despite his limited game, LW is gonna get a lot of opportunity with the Eddie & Ed duo.

On radio following press conference the other day, Billy King offered unequivocally and “without politicking” that both Iguodala and Young were small forwards/3s, suggesting an organizational logjam and conundrum. (He neglected to numerate Sam.)

The Greek, If we get jilted again by a blogmaster, then it’s time to pause and unlock our diaries for fresh reflection and insight.

Jordan said Iguodala would begin the season at forward and hoped he’d play some shooting guard once he gets the hang of the Princeton offense in “December or January.” There’s a chance Lou Williams could start at one of the guard positions, despite his sub-par 2008-09.

I didn’t realize you had Iggy starting at SG…I am all for your plan if it means Willie Green is no longer a starter…i’ve been he would get out of the starting five…he’s had to have been among the worst starter in the league the last couple of years….

If Iguadala and Thad start together at SG/SF, which they should, we don’t have a single backup SF on our entire team except for Donyell Marshall. If we were to go in the direction of getting a bench SF in this draft to get some youth, a Budinger, Ellington or Sam Young would only be helping our team out as they can all hit 3′s.
