Wish I'd seen the 2nd half of that game. Very impressive by the Hawks. As far as Igoudala goes, I think the best thing he could do would be to concentrate on making a quick move as soon as he gets his hands on the ball, and be looking to pass just as quickly if Detroit rolls it's big men towards him like they've been doing. For the Sixers, our two best offensive weapons have been Miller and Young - we need to feature them more. Young in particular needs more touches. Like you said, Dannie, he has been hitting the mid range jumper quite well. Adjust!!!

Joe Johnson is an NBA shooting guard. He can score from anywhere on the court and has good size for the position. I have always like his game and wanted the Sixers to get him when he wanted out of Phoenix but he wanted to go to a team and be the man and we still had THE MAN in AI here.

I agree with everything you said. Josh Smith's stock is rising. Here is what I thought about last night regarding him and Iggy. Everyone seems to be making excuses for Iggy about Detroit's defense and Tayshaun Prince's size and defense bothering Iggy. Josh Smith has freakin' Kevin Garnett the defensive player of the year guarding him. Who by the way is 2-3 inches taller than he is. And arguably the best team defense in the history of the NBA to contend with. Impressive I'd say.

I saw that Hawks game too, and I had these thoughts:

1. So that's what a go-to guy for a young team is supposed to do.

2. Atlanta has a better crowd than us?

3. Iggy's paycheck should be around 75% of what Joe Johnson's is.

4. Josh Smith is not leaving the Hawks.

5. I don't remember the last time our guards did a pick and roll with each other.

6. Could Iggy help us by being more Josh Childress-like, or does he still have it in his head that he needs to "step up"?

7. Marvin freakin' Williams is contributing more than Iggy! That's right, Marvin freakin' Williams...

8. Basically, the whole night I was thinking, "Man, if only Iggy could do that (what I just saw from the Hawks' swingmen)..."
