I wrote the other day about the direct needs the Phillies have in 2010 and the possible free agents that could fill those needs. Now, we need to look at the financial situation as well as the long-term situations of each position.
The rules for my organizational depth chart can be found here.
I will update these charts as the off-season progresses, and will likely put them up as a easy-to-access page on the right hand side under “Philly Sports Goodness.”

I like to do as best as I can to be forward thinking and look at things they way I think our GM should, not just from a how to be better next year, but how to be better for the next decade. This helps put things in perspective and I’ll probably reference it a good deal during the off-season.

How’s it going,
I was doing some searching for new sports blogs and I came across yours. I like it a lot. I was wondering if you would like to exchange links with both my sports blogs, SPORTSMONARCH.com and SportsSoundOff.net. I think we can spread some traffic around and be a good thing for both of us. Let me know if this is cool.
JASON
Feliz’ option was declined. A little bummed to see him go but very interested as I hope this is the first step in an aggressive Chone Figgins courtship.
Thanks Chris,
They did say they could bring Feliz back still.
I’ll have a post up detailing the 3B options tomorrow or Tuesday
A little too much Kyle Kendrick on that list Pete.
John Mayberry, Jr. is not listed – oversight, or don’t like him?
His disappointing postseason perpetuates this, but has anyone ever been their team’s best hitter with RISP and racked up 82 RBI more quietly than Feliz did this year? Man, you stick a guy behind Rollins, Victorino, Utley, Howard, Werth and Ibanez and it’s like he doesn’t even exist.
Man, writing those names in that order just put a huge smile on my face.
