I hate how those fat pigs use to come into the vet and take over back in the day. I hated when Starks and Ewing started sweeping the floor after they beat the sixers in the 1st rd back in the day. That all being said, Mets/Giants/Rangers/Knicks fans are way worse then Yankees fans. I don't really mind Yankees fans that much. Their more stuck up then they are illiterate pieces of trash like other New York fans. I know I hate everything and everyone New York much more then any other team/city. You use the national media headlines to downplay some rivalries, while you simultaneously use similar national media headlines to hype the Mets/Phils. It’s for hard for me to consider any baseball matchup a rivalry when the teams meet 19 times, let alone two teams that have only finished 1-2 in the division twice in your lifetime! (last year and 1986) As a representative of your non-Eastern time zone readers, I can say that few people outside your region give a damn about this “rivalry.” However, it would be a breath of fresh air for some “rivalry” to pick up the steam so we don’t have to get blown away with Yanks/Sox BS.
