I saw that Sal Pal report too and I was surprised..he said other teams say the eagles are interested. At first I thought maybe it's a legit rumor not just a mock draft "guru" prediction. However I'll believe it when I see. Maybe the eagles are telling other teams that they would trade up to get him as a smoke screen to get someone else.
What would be the fun in the draft if they didn't throw a curveball in the 1st. They never pick who we think they will.
I would be ecstatic if they took moreno

If it doesn!t cost too much to get to 14 or 15 ,I do it to get Moreno. We may contend this year and if Westbrook goes down we are in deep shit. He is 30 and we know how the Eagles handle their "old" guys. Robiski sounds like a guy that produces and has size so in the 2nd or trading up in the 3rd he may be an option.

Thanks for writing such a phenomenal article. If Knowshon is there at 21, I think the Eagles take him. I don't see the Eagles going all-in with Vontae Davis due to character concerns, but he's a hell of an athlete. We have too many DEs on the roster to draft another one. They like Abiamiri and drafted Bryan Smith early last year. I wouldn't be upset with Vontae Davis at all as long as we get LeSean McCoy in round 2.

If Moreno is there at 21 and the Eagles pass, they also have to consider the ramifications of that. Do you risk the Giants taking him at 29 to replace Ward and be the change of pace back for the the oft-injured Jacobs? The 22-28 teams are set at RB. I see the Chargers taking Knowshon at 16, so I'm really hoping the Eagles can work out a deal with New Orleans (14) or Houston (15) to jump ahead of them. Denver and the Jets may also want to get their hands on Knowshon.

I cannot wait for the draft!

Pete I would be estatic if they went with your suggestion...hopefully their is truth to the rumor that Sal Pal reported on Sportscenter yesterday that they are targeting Moreno...I love the Sean Smith-Bobby Taylor comparison...unfortunately, I have no faith in their drafting at this point and I have a bad feeling we could end up with the second scenario...we do need another TE at some point but I guess they could package their 5th round picks and get one in the 3rd or 4th round....
